A
wedding day is full of spontaneous, fleeting moments.
Though it’s a day with much build-up, it rushes
by in the blink of an eye—but not before the snap
of the camera shutter can catch it. Only one
medium can truly capture the emotion of a wedding
day to create images frozen in time, yet filled
with the energy of the moment; Photography.

Washington D.C., Maryland, and West Virginia. He
knows the twists, turns, hidden alcoves and perfectly
lit sunsets of each area. He has studied with some
of the nation's leading photography professionals,
San Francisco's brilliant Bambi Cantrell,
portrait lighting genius Don Blair and European
stylists Joseph and Louise Simone. Gary is a long-time
member of the Professional Photographer's Association
and attends conventions, classes, and workshops
to stay up-to-date on the newest trends in
photography, developing, and framing.
He
has worked with over 250 brides to capture their
most precious memories and create albums of images
that tell the unique story of each wedding day.
"I
look for the essence of the moment,” says Gary.
"I like to catch the things that will be forgotten—the
excitement and joy, the family and friends. I'm
not just a portrait maker. I stand on the sidelines
and watch the day unfolding; ready to catch the
things that will capture the moment in a special
way. That comes with a spontaneous reaction to a visual
image. A photographer has to have a quick eye, has
to anticipate where to be, and has to put his heart
into his photos.
